Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

I stopped in a few times over the last couple of weeks because they check your tires for free and both times, they had to add air to one tire. On the third visit, I had them check for a leak and they found a nail in the tire. Paige and Will at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I’ll go back for regular maintenance.

I had an alignment done at Pep Boys, and after the service my steering wheel was still tilted to the right. I went back twice trying to get the issue corrected. I was specifically told to come in Sunday morning and that they would have someone work on my car right away. I showed up early Sunday morning as they asked, but when I got there, I was told, “I can squeeze you in today.” I trusted them and waited basically the entire day. Around 4:30 PM, after receiving no call or update, I finally called to ask what was happening with my car. I was then told that they “weren’t that busy today,” so the person who was supposed to work on it went home. So after Pep Boys told me to come early, I wasted almost my entire Sunday waiting, only to find out the person who was supposed to fix the problem had gone home without anyone even bothering to call me. This is completely unacceptable customer service. My original alignment issue was still not properly fixed, I had to return multiple times, and then they wasted an entire day of my time. I would not recommend this location based on my experience. If you promise a customer that their vehicle will be taken care of, at the very least communic

Very happy with the service here. They are honest and fair and never try to pressure you. Had a large repair job needed on a 15 year old car that I knew would be somewhat costly. They got the work done quickly and kept me informed of all work needed and options available without making me feel forced into anything. Went out of their way to find all available discounts and kept the price manageable. I appreciated the efforts they made to make me feel like a valued customer.

I had to bring in my 2015 Toyota sienna van because it was making a squealing sound. The problem was that two days earlier while vacationing in Boston, the Boston Pep Boys replaced my water pump. They did not replace the old cracked serpentine belt while they were doing the replacement. They put the bad belt back on.We called the Bordentown Pep Boys when we got home as the squealing sound was noticeable and spoke to Joe. He was very understanding and calm and had us bring the car in immediately, which was Sunday night. They found the problem within 5 minutes and replaced the serpentine belt. She is running perfectly and I am quite relieved that they could fit us and complete the job that I wished the Pep Boys in Boston would have done correctly. Thank you Bordentown Pep-boys for your terrific technicians. I’ll be seeing you next month for you to work on my other care!
